At Thanjai Dental Centre, we offer the All-on-6 dental implant system, a highly effective solution for patients needing full-arch restoration. This advanced approach uses six implants per arch to support a complete set of replacement teeth, providing a secure and natural-looking solution.
Before your treatment begins, you will undergo a CBCT scan (3D imaging of your jaw) and a digital scan of your teeth to create a comprehensive view of your oral health. We will discuss your treatment plan and procedure in detail during a personal consultation.
Once the treatment plan is finalized, we schedule your appointment for implant placement. The procedure is performed under computerized local anesthesia, ensuring a painless experience. After 3 to 4 days, we will fit a provisional Hybrid Bridge.
The provisional Hybrid Bridge allows you to resume normal activities, including eating and chewing, while your gums, facial muscles, and jaw joints gradually adapt and heal. This bridge can be used for up to 5 months.
After 5 to 6 months, when your bone has fully integrated with the implants and healed, the provisional bridge will be replaced with a final, permanent bridge. At this stage, your bone will have sufficiently healed to securely hold the implants.
Regular check-ups and proper oral hygiene are crucial after placing the final bridge. You will need to visit us or a local dentist for ongoing monitoring. We will provide you with detailed instructions on how to maintain your final bridge to ensure its longevity and optimal function.
