Oral Hygiene

It is extremely important to care for your teeth and gums from an early age. Well-maintained teeth will not only last longer, but are less likely to be at risk of many common oral health problems, such as tooth decay, gingivitis or periodontitis.

An oral hygiene appointment can be made with our professional dentists . At Thanjai Dental Centre, we recommend an oral hygiene check-up at least once every six months, or sooner if necessary.

How to maintain optimum oral health ?

Many of us like to indulge in sugary foods and drink, but overdoing it can contribute significantly to poor oral health and tooth decay. We suggest keeping your intake of overly sugary treats minimal, in order to keep your teeth in tip-top shape.

Brushing

Everyone should brush their teeth twice daily with a soft-bristled brush, and floss their teeth with good quality dental floss. You can also use a quality mouthwash recommended by your dentist as part of your daily oral hygiene routine.

Good oral hygiene is vital, and an appointment with your hygienist is a great start achieving optimum oral health. Our network features a number of professional hygienists who can advise you on daily routines and the areas of oral hygiene you may need to improve on.
